The diary hiatus bullshit is officially over. I mean it this time. Really.
So a lot has happened in the past week or however long it's been. So I'll try to give you the reader's digest v.
I met this really strange guy, Justin on his way to California. We went out for dinner and then drinks after and then he subjected me to watching his wonderfully edited wrestling videos. It was actually a lot of fun and it was cool to finally meet him. I have to say I'm sad he's not in O-town anymore and has moved to California as it's not really convenient for road-trips and visits and all those shennanigans. But oh well.
Moving right along. I passed kidney stones last week. It was lots and lots of fun. Let me tell you. It actually wasn't nearly as bad as what I've heard, but apparently mine were very, very, very small. I spent almost all of Thursday in my new shrinks office, for about two hours anyway, and the rest of the day in my dr.'s office while they did tests and prescribed me medecine and found out yes! I was passing kidney stones. Big yay!
I also got fired.
Please don't post any I'm sorry's and hope you're alrights because I am so fine. I was really upset about it the morning it happened. Basically because I have NEVER in my life been fired from a job. I've never in left a job on bad terms or anything of the like. And I didn't leave this job on bad terms, but I was fired. By the afternoon though, I was fine with it. And especially the next day, waking up to the fact that I never have to lay eyes on my assclown of a bosslady ever again. Honestly I've been miserable ever since she started micro-managing my position and I am happy with where I am right now.
As far as job opportunities go there's not a whole lot out there right now, but I've been on one interview so far and I'm expecting a second one from that. I've been putting out my resume to anything and everything that seems acceptable or fruitful and I'm just going to see what I can come up with. In the meantime Arnie has taken me on full time and pretty much has let me choose my schedule so I can do the whole job hunting thing during the days. And since I got shit canned there hasn't been one day where I've been not happy at the end of the day.
In other news Kim got to come home for a few days, which was good. The treatment they've had her on was outpatient, she's still really weak, but they thought it would be a nice change for her to be back at home. She's back in the hospital now and they told her that yes, her cancer is back, but she's taking it really well. I'm starting to deal with it a lot better too. I think it's all about your attitude, and talking about it seems to help.
Other than all that I can't think of a whole lot to say.
