So unemployment is not as bad as I thought. I finally changed out of my pajamas and left my apartment. I'm kidding, sort of.

Anyway...

So I have no job, no car, no car insurance, only a temporary driver's license and almost no money. But I do have good friends, a roof, the bills paid for the month of september, food, alcohol, cigarettes and my computer. I also have a car, although it's missing two tires and isn't insured yet, that is at Beth's parent's house. They are giving it to me. I cried when she told me.

What else? I am staying away from my mother and my step-father. Two days ago I felt like I was 16 all over again and it was not fun. But whatever.

I'm going to start waiting tables at this little Italian place around the corner after the first of September. It's within walking distance and I should make decent money there. It's amazing how much the cost of living decreases when you don't have to make a $300.00 car payment and $150.00 insurance payment each month.

I guess life is looking up in a way. I'm tired of it looking down.

Scotty will be here in approximately 2 hours and 22 minutes and he's not leaving until Sunday. This rocks. And so does he. I bet he brings me a vanilla milk shake. I'm addicted to them lately.
