I got kissed! And kissed again! And even more!
And yes, it was great. Absolutely 100% worth the wait. It couldn't have been better. Nothing else happened. It was just kissing and kissing and kissing until we just couldn't breath anymore. It reminded me of being at the movies in 9th grade with your boyfriend not because you really wanted to see a movie but because you just wanted to be alone (or semi-alone) in a dark room so you could suck each other's face off. And there were those butterflies. And that little nervous thing in my belly. And man! I can't wait to be kissed again.
Okay, dork alert has sounded and my kissing rant is now over. It was really jump up and down good though, which surprised me after such a freakin' build up.
So last night I went home and moved a few things here and there. The dining room is pretty much situated now. It looks a little odd, having a futon against one wall and seating people on one side of the table, but it works for now. Scotty, Johnny, Lori and Lois said it's actually sort of practical considering there's really no other place for it. So that's where it's staying for now. I may end up just keeping it. I guess it depends on how much it looking sort of stupid bothers me. After moving I showered, changed, and took out the trash and finally returned my keg, tub and tap to Arnie's. From there I met Scotty for a beer before he came over to help with the moving of shit around in my apartment. Johnny and Lori showed up just as we were leaving so we invited them over. We got my huge ass dead planter out and the litter odor that was looming with it. I moved my bookcase, but not to a stationary place. I have no idea where to put it. The giant microwave that came with Lois also found a home on the kitchen counter.
After all the moving we sat and talked and had a couple beers. Johnny and Lori left around 11:00 p.m. and Lois was in her room doing homework almost the entire time we were there. She came out when Scotty and I first got there and even though I introduced her to him a couple weeks ago at karaoke I did it again because I knew she didn't remember him and she goes, "yeah, I had a buzz that night, but I remember you now and I've heard lots about you." She so gave it away, but not really, so no matter.
So once we were alone and in the living room and listening to music, Emmy Lou, who I would've never guessed to be such good music to kiss to, we were both on the couch. We were pretty much just sitting and talking, not really facing each other and not really seated looking straight ahead either. Comfortable either way. Sam was continuously being the attention whore that he is and wouldn't leave Scotty alone. Finally Scotty picked him up from in between us, put him on the floor and laid down on his back with his head on my leg. There was some arm entanglement and hand holding and arm rubbing and the next thing I knew he was leaning up and I was leaning down and it was sort of a weird half sideways/half upside down kiss, but it happened. There was lots of kissing. At least 30 minutes or an hour worth of kissing. We ended up falling asleep on my couch together. Yes, I know I have a full bed and a futon, but there is also crap piled on top of my bed and we were already on the couch, so... Whatever. I'm still giddy though. Giddy over that kiss and the ones I got this morning before we left and the ones I got before he got out of the car this morning and the ones I'm going to get later.
I promise next time to spare you all the minute details of any kissing.
No, really.
I am so going to shut-up and get some work done.
Now.
See?
Working.
(but I'd rather be kissing)
Sure you knew that though.
