I haven't had a whole lot to say lately. Things have been running smoothly. I am a pedestrian with a broken toe though. But I also have a golf cart at my disposal for a week, so that helps.

It's officially official with Scotty and I. We're a couple or whatever. We also had our first sort of major something. It wasn't a fight, more of an uncomfortable situation. But we started getting through it and we're still getting through it. My walls are down, his are up, so we're just taking it one day at a time from here. He admitted that I'm the first and only girlfriend he's had since he got divorced. The divorce was something like 10 years ago. So this could be some work. I told him that, he agreed. But we're both willing and patient and we both see the prize at the finish line.

Good things come to those who wait, right? Good thing he makes me want to be all about the waiting. I've never met a man that I could say that about. I'm all about the now. But I see a future and it doesn't start until we get through all this.

I've got to get ready for work now. But only one more day. I have an actual weekend this weekend. And hey! College football babies! Saturday and beer and pizza here I come.
